India’s major non-banking financial institution has nominated DAV University for a gamified campus competition “EON.” The company Bajaj Finance Limited aims at engaging bright young minds and encouraging them to build a career in banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) industry.

Mr. Aman Sharma, National Lead – Human Resources and his team visited the University and apprised students of the opportunity of building a career in this fast-growing sector. He also acquainted the students with the vision of the company’s founder and the ways students could prepare them for working in this sector.

Students register in the EON program in teams and become a part of the mega activity being conducted across India. The progress of every team will be monitored by the company personnel. The winners would be declared a month later.

In this competition, participants are required to build their own Non-Banking Financial Corporation (NBFC) with sales and credit officers. The team is required to develop its business by lending to the right customers and gaining profits.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Desh Bandhu Gupta, Head, Commerce and Business Management Department, Mr. Pranjal Pachpore, Training and Placement Officer Mr. Rakesh Kondal were also present on this occasion.
