Ninety students and teachers donated blood at a camp organised by DAV University. The camp was organised under the aegis of Red Ribbon Club - NSS unit and NCC Department. KVI Blood Bank, Amritsar organised the camp.
Dr. Manoj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, DAV University said such initiatives foster a sense of community and humanity among the youth. He also highlighted the role of voluntary blood donors in saving lives. Registrar of the University, Prof. S. K. Arora talked about the benefits of blood donation and dispelled common myths associated with it.
Dr. Samriti Khosla, coordinator, NSS, Dr Ahmed Hussain, Associate NCC Officer, Dr. Vidya Pandey, Ms. Harkirat Kaur, Dr. Sudhir and Dr. Mamta Goyal were present.
