Brief Proifle

She is a biotechnologist with keen interest in developing molecular frame for understanding the secondary metabolism and stress tolerance of plants. Her field of interest includes legume biotechnology, plant metabolic engineering, plant stress biology, nano-plant interactome and plant small RNA. She has worked on understanding the molecular background of steviol glycoside biosynthetic pathway operating in Stevia rebaudiana plants. Presently, her group is working on understanding the secondary metabolism and environmental interactions of legumes. She has 26 publications including international book chapters and research articles in various reputed journals like Journal of Experimental Botany, Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition, PloS One and Gene. She has eight books published with Elsevier, CRC Taylor & Francis and Springer Nature. In addition to that, she is presently editing three books with publishers Elsevier and SpringerNature.
